For me this scripture means that God empowers me and mandates me that I must develop in myself the Fighting Instinct to react to any attack without ever giving it a second thought, without ever giving up or ever allowing the idea of surrender to even enter my mind no matter what shape, condition or circumstance I find myself in to Fight with whatever technique or weapon I have.
It is the only way you will ever have respect for yourself as a man or a woman and this Self Respect is essential for our life.
Now that we have it and we know that we can be trusted to “Be Strong & Of Good Courage” no matter who or what the threat is to ourselves or our family we like ourselves. Bitterness and worry fade away and you find that you can be more forigiving and loving in personal relationships. Not being afraid to give more of yourself to other people because you know who you are.

LEARN WHAT WORKS embodies the mind set at Dauntless as we puruse nothing less than excellence to produce in you the qualities of Instinct, Ability & Conditioning.
For us Instinct is the first thing that must be developed, whether you call it Fight Drive, Predator Instinct or Warrior Spirit makes no difference it is all the same. It is how you react when you are set upon with violence in whatever form it happens to be. A larger attacker striking or grappling you, multiple attackers, a knife or edged weapon or a gun in your face all require specific techniques to properly counter the situation but Instinct is primary. All you really have are your “Instincts” at the moment of the attack.
Ability is your Technique for each kind of violence or threat you would encounter. Here Sensitivity, Technique & Reaction Time are developed not to be pre supposed but reactive. This is what Dauntless does very well, we can instill you the ability to excel in a large variety of threat scenarios so that your skill level can overcome each of them no matter what the size or ability of the attacker.
Conditioning is your Shape, your Endurance, Strength, Speed, Timing, Accurracy and other attributes that are developed at Dauntless. We always focus on this in the training, measuring each students performance in the class before and making certain he or she is pushed further in the next class to achieve a steady progression in attributes that you are always better than you were the day before.
