I started With Mr. Sachetti at Dauntless in Smyrna back in 2008. I never really did anything before with Martial Arts or Fighting but I joined up first for Mr. Sachetti’s BJJ & MMA Combo, within 3 months I upgraded to the Dauntless Elite Course and let me tell you IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. I have been to many schools and rolled with many people but there is no instructor in Delaware that has Mr. Sachettis performance ability or immense depth of knowledge on intricate BJJ, Thai Boxing, Dumpag and other technique. When we roll I constantly notice that his sensitivity, technique and reaction time are AMAZING. Then when he teaches he Breaks every down and shows me all of the details I am missing. Not only in BJJ but his Stand Up ability particularly his Boxing and Dumpag are World Class. Here he has enabled me with a unique movement ability to side step and evade my opponents stikes to hit them back before they know it.
Mr. Sachetti has really improved my Clinch Work a lot too, here he really excels again a lot of this comes from the Dumpag and now KFM but it is the way that Mr. Sachetti teaches it that makes me really good. There is no other way to say it Mr. Sachetti is A DAMN GOOD TEACHER, HE MAKES ME GOOD and he will make you good. One thing I can say about Mr. Sachetti is that “HE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE YOU WIN!!” I have had 3 MMA Fights now 1 in Delaware and 2 in Virginia and I am 3-0. The last fight I had I was Blue Belt and had to fight a Purple Belt who was also a Thai Boxing instructor and I won in the 3rd round by Submission. After only 7 months of training with Mr. Allen Sachetti in his BJJ Curriculum I was able to win my first NAGA Competition by SUBMITTING each one of the opponents I faced including my opponent in the Final to take the Gold Medal at the NO GI Division in the 2009 Battle At The Beach. I also got a Silver Medal in the Gi Division.
One thing is for sure “RESULTS DON’T LIE”. I find Mr. Sachetti’s BJJ Curriculum and Approach to teaching very sound in the Fundamentals while at the same time very intricate and refined in the more advanced material.
My training with him is very challenging and easy to build on. Since then I have continued to compete in many tournaments, earned my Blue Belt and now I am going through Mr. Sachetti’s BJJ Blue – Purple Belt curriculum. It is Amazing!!

I went to my first tournament after 8 months of training at Dauntless Martial Arts in Mr. Sachetti’s BJJ Curriculum which was a “SUBMISSION ONLY U.S. GRAPPLERS TOURNAMENT” in Ashland VA. I had a total of 6 fights in 3 divisions, 2 in No Gi where I won the Gold and 2 in No Gi Absolute where I had one fight for 58 minutes and then 2 in the Gi where I won the Silver.
Mr. Sachetti’s BJJ Curriculum is very High Quality not only in the Fundamentals where he shows me every detail of how to make moves work for me and how to escape and dominate positions but Mr. Sachetti is also very Technique Oriented in the Advanced Material as well. He is meticulous in the details you need to make the technique work right away against any size person and he is hard core in the training where he not only brings out the best in me but also always puts out his best.
Winning for me was inevitable based on my training with Mr. Sachetti. I found myself so far more advanced than my other opponents where they knew some moves but they did not know them like I knew them.
I have stayed in touch with my opponents on Face Book since then and they have told me that they had multiple years of training in other schools but I only had 8 months with Mr. Sachetti. His Methods in my opinion are much more functional for the delivery of proper technique with all the pertinent details one would need to be effective in Grappling. I also won my first MMA Tournament on Jan. 16th, 2010 in the second round by a Guillotine Submission!! You can see it on You Tube.
